Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), also known as myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), is a complex disorder characterised by profound fatigue that isn't improved by rest and may worsen with physical or mental exertion. Other symptoms can include muscle pain, impaired memory or concentration and unrefreshing sleep. The cause of CFS is not fully understood, and there is no specific diagnostic test or cure.
